Cognoscenti means the people who know. Arrochar Cognoscenti is the labour hire arm of Arrochar Consulting: senior architects, data, AI governance and delivery specialists, each an expert in their field, vetted by practitioners who have done the same work, and placed inside government and regulated-industry teams on time and materials.

We do not supply generalists or juniors. Each person on the bench is a senior practitioner in enterprise or solution architecture, data, AI governance or technical delivery, with at least ten years of experience in the Australian market and a record you can check.
Vetted by people who have done the job.
The people who screen our contractors are architects and data leads themselves. Every candidate is interviewed on their work. Identity, right to work, references and qualifications are checked, and a security clearance is recorded only from evidence we have seen.
Fast, and honest about fit.
One or two strong candidates within 24 hours of a request, not a pile of CVs. If we do not have the right person, we say so and point you elsewhere.

How a placement works
Tell us the role
Describe the work, the team and the clearance it needs. We describe roles the way government panels do, mapped to SFIA and the APS Job Family Framework, so the brief and the candidate line up.
We put forward one or two people
Within 24 hours where we have the right person on the bench. Each comes with written consent to be represented, a verified history and their clearance status as evidenced, never as claimed.
You direct the work, we carry the duties
Your team directs the person day to day. Arrochar Consulting is the employer or engager of record and carries payroll, superannuation, insurance and its share of the work health and safety duties, with a conflicts check on every placement.
The rules we work to
Labour hire is a regulated, visible business. These are the rules every placement runs on.
Labour hire is separate from consulting.
Where the work is a defined outcome and Arrochar Consulting carries the risk, it is quoted as a consulting service. Where your organisation directs the person day to day, it is labour hire. We do not blur the two.
A conflicts check on every placement.
Before a person is placed, we check for any conflict with advice Arrochar Consulting is giving, declare it to you, and resolve it. A placed contractor speaks for your team, not for us, and recommends no Arrochar service.
Licensed before we place.
Several states and territories license labour hire providers. We do not place a person in a jurisdiction that requires a licence until our licence there has been granted.
Consent first, privacy always.
No CV goes to any organisation without the candidate's written consent. A candidate privacy notice sets out what we hold, why, and for how long, and unsuccessful applicants are treated with the same care as placed ones.
Clearances as evidenced.
We record a security clearance only when we have seen the evidence, and we say so plainly when a candidate holds none. Clearance holders are a priority for the bench.
Honest about demand.
Government is bringing generalist roles back in-house, and so it should. We supply the scarce specialist skills agencies tell us they cannot recruit, and nothing else.

Easy to buy, and honest about the route
Arrochar Consulting Pty Ltd is an approved supplier on seven government panels for consulting work. Government engages individual contractors through separate contingent workforce arrangements, and our listings on those are in progress. Ask us which route applies to your organisation today: direct engagement, an existing panel that permits it, or the contingent workforce arrangement once our listing is approved.
