Questions banks ask about MeshFin Collect

What does MeshFin Collect do?
MeshFin Collect is the MeshFin service for collections and recoveries. Early, respectful contact with the options; arrangements set and monitored within policy; every statutory notice prepared in the right form at the right time and held for approval; and no enforcement step without a person deciding it. It reacts to events such as payment missed, arrangement broken and hardship case closed, and writes contact record, arrangement, notice with proof of service and enforcement file as records.
Which BIAN service domains does MeshFin Collect cover?
Collections, Delinquent Account Handling, Customer Behavior Insights and Collateral Asset Administration, in the BIAN Operations and Execution business area, in whole or in part. The mapping is to the published BIAN Service Landscape; BIAN has not reviewed or endorsed MeshFin.
What systems does MeshFin Collect replace?
Collections system, Dialler lists, Recovery agency spreadsheets and Default notices by hand. Because the service runs on the MeshFin platform, the licence, integration and upgrade costs of those systems retire with them.
What do the AI agents do in collections and recoveries?
The early contact agent contacts the customer on their preferred channel at the right time with the options, and records the outcome; it stands down whenever Assist opens a case. The arrangement agent sets up a payment arrangement within policy, monitors it and tells the customer before it breaks. The notice agent prepares every statutory notice with the right form, content and timing, and holds it for approval with proof of service ready. The recovery agent prepares the referral or enforcement pack and tracks the agent or the solicitor against the mandate.
Which decisions does a person still take?
Agents never take a decision with legal or financial effect on a customer, the balance sheet or a regulatory obligation. In MeshFin Collect, a person decides issue of a default notice (delegated officer), listing a default with a credit reporting body (delegated officer) and enforcement, sale of security or write-off (delegated officer). The record shows who decided, why, on what evidence and under which delegation.
